HI FAMILY,

So Sunday night we found out about transfers. Seeing as how today is transfer day!

Well to my Great surprise Elder Cooper was transferred, he got sent really far away, I was rather sad seeing as how I wanted to work with him at least once more, but well it's not my choice. And to my great astonishment I’m Training again, and I have been Called as a District Leader.

So this AM, I went to Jabaquara (name of the place we do transfers) to drop off Elder Cooper and then to São Judes(a chapel where trainers meet new missionaries). And there I got my new comp. Elder Gomes. He is from a state way In the north of Brazil, he is pretty cool from what I can tell in our first 3 hours together!

This last week was an amazing week, Elder Cooper and I baptized Geilsa, it was a very very very Spiritual baptism! Which is just such a great thing when that happens, and then after the baptism, the ward threw Elder Cooper a surprise birthday party! Which was really amazing and he liked it a lot!

My work here is now going to be harder and challenging, but I’m looking forward to this because it will be a chance for me to stretch a lot more!

I just want to thank all of you for praying for me every day I can feel the spirit of the lord helping me each and every day!!!

Hope you all are doing well, and helping the lords work move along(that includes more then just giving dinner to the elders or sisters!!!!)

Love, Elder Linford
